There is a very special group of people that choose the hard fight over the comfort of the sidelines every year. You are a part of that group.
This year, the hard work and generosity of bullsugar supporters paid off, and we saw changes to water management that were specific to preventing negative human health effects from toxic algae. This was *big news* and we are grateful to all of you that helped us move the needle. Now we have to keep the pressure on to ensure clean, safe water for all Floridians, every year.
We cannot thank you enough for your continued support through this revolutionary water movement. Without it, celebrating the holidays certainly would not be the same.
If you can, please consider making a donation to help support turning the tide for future generations.
Thank you from all of us at Bullsugar!
We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone involved in the amazing effort that went into creating the award-winning Friends of the Everglades float in the Stuart Christmas Parade last week!
Local heroes and artists behind TC Trash Art led the endeavor, centered around the parade’s ‘green’ theme. The entire float was constructed out of trash collected from Hutchinson Island and artfully crafted into creatures and beings sporting t-shirts of river advocacy. Dozens of advocates walked alongside the float in a show of solidarity that is a testament to the resolve of Floridians everywhere fighting for clean water and the community spirit that drives everything.
